Ingredients

1 cup Gram flour

1 and 1/2 cup Ghee

1/2 cup Oil

2 cup Sugar

1 Tsp Elaichi powder

Instructions

First put the gram flour through a sieve to get rid of the lumps

Keep a tray greased and ready

Add sugar in a heavy bottomed pan with 3/4th cup of water

Boil until the mixture becomes consistent.

Add the flour slowly while stirring continuously. Mix until smooth. The flame should always be low to medium.

On the side melt some ghee, mix oil in it and keep it ready. (It should be hot)

Start adding ghee slowly and add 2-3 tablespoon continuously at a time.

Keep stirring until the ghee is absorbed by the mixture and then add the next batch of ghee and repeat.

At this stage the color will change to pale and frothy.

Also there will be a pleasant aroma of cooked besan along with ghee.

Add a teaspoon of elaichi powder and mix quickly.
